    Appearance >> advance menu manager

1) A Custom-built User Interface:
With hundreds of pages in your menu, you need a tailored UI that offers a complete view of menu, the parent pages and their child (sub-items). AMM has that user-interface. Besides offering a complete picture of your menu, the clutter-free UI also allows you to view, add, edit and manage your pages and posts to make your job easier.

2) Add pages/posts parallely:
Besides allowing you to get a comprehensive view of your menu and its sub items, the plugin helps you add menu items and sub-items parallely. This apart, the plugin also helps the user to create and add new pages/posts without going back and forth as is the case with the default WP menu feature.

3) Make no mistake while searching files:
The default search option in WordPress Menu does not offer a detailed look. This increases the chances of selecting a wrong page, leading to task repetition. AMM offers complete view of pages you have searched ensuring you select the right page.

4) See Menu Item ID:
The default WordPress Menu does not provide a quick look into whether a particular menu item is a page or a post. Besides, you also cannot know what the item id is. The AMM id equipped with this functionality to show you complete details in a single user interface to save your time and efforts.

5) Hide existing menu:
The plugin also offers you a functionality to hide existing menu items when you want to add pages/posts to your current menu. This helps you save time and avoid confusion.

6) Manage attributes for a menu item:
Manage a particular menu item snavigation label, title attribute, CSS classes, Link relationship and description from here.

7) Other features you will love:

-> Manage and delete pages from a single interface, no going to open menu detail content.
-> Add tags to pages/posts and category
-> Insert custom links as per your needs
-> Add a menu item as a child category without going back and forth.
-> Easy to use page/post search functionality so that you know you have selected the correct file.
-> Hide/show a parent item's sub-category.

This looks like an alpha version of plugin. Idea is good, but a lot of bugs and it just did not work. I wanted to add pages by author or by category and it was loading, loading and actually did nothing. You should find better developers and QA.

I have hundreds of pages that I needed to make a menu with. The Wordpress inbuilt functionality is quite terrible. This plugin did make that job a little easier. However, it could have been much, much better. The daunting task ahead of me was selecting many, many pages for the menu. The main page and most of its children were thankfully right next to each other in the plugin’s selection structure. All I had to was click each and every page to add it to my menu, one by one. No easy shortcuts for this plugin! The plugin got the job done-ish in a fraction of the time it would have with just the Wordpress functionality. You may have noticed the “Most of its Children” part. Yes, the alphabetical listing of child pages sometimes just left off some of the pages around below the letter T. A quirk of the search? No! I wasn’t even searching. When bulk adding to the menu, sometimes I’d have pages that started with W, sometimes not. Also, adding more pages to these menus after the initial selection was impossible. I tried every button I could and never figured it out. Just go to the Wordpress menu system to do those updates for T-Z pages. While you’re there, use the Wordpress Menu drag and drop interface for rearranging the pages into the parent and child structure. Not only does the plugin not bring those relationships into your menu, the plugin sometimes messes up the settings for parent and child relationships in the menu after you save.

The free version saved me hours of work, and its very easy to use! I have hundreds of pages and the standard WP search is pretty useless, but the search on this plugin is great. Being able to hide existing menu items is especially useful. What would be an improvement would be to use the plugin to be able to manage pages. I have redesigned my entire site and have lots of old published pages, being able to view published pages that are not an existing menu item, and then be able to make them draft or delete would be a great tool!
