Clonable allow WordPress website owners to creation “clones” of their WordPress websites – translated versions that are always kept up-to-date with the original version.
Any changes to the original version are immediately mirrored on the clone, significantly reducing maintenance costs.
It only takes 5 minutes to create a clone of your website, drastically reducing time-to-market.
Features
This plugin adds language tags to the head tag of all your pages, so your clones and original site are properly linked for SEO. This works for both translate and non-translate clones and supports clones of subfolders as well.
The plugin allows you to add a clone onto a subfolder of your website, without any technical configuration inside of WordPress.
Clonable also offers an easy-to-use language switcher, that you can use to switch between the different languages of your website.
Installation
You will need a Clonable account to make use of the plugin. When you have successfully connected the plugin to your Clonable account the settings will
automatically synchronise with your WordPress installation.
When settings have not synchronised correctly, you can do this manually by hitting the ‘Sync with Clonable’ button on the general settings page of the plugin.
