Dashboard Organizer

Description

This plugin gives you the ability to hide WordPress admin menu items, keeping your dashboard clean and organized. With the click of a button (also in the WordPress menu), you can show them all or return to the clean state you configured, only with the menus you want to see.

Installation

You have two ways of installing this plugin.

Manual installation

  1. Upload the dashboard-organizer folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the Dashboard Organizer plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in the WordPress dashboard.
  3. Browse to the “Dashboard Organizer” section under Settings to choose the menus you want to hide or show.

  1. Click the “Add New” button.
  2. Search for Dashboard Organizer by MWGuerra, download and activate the plugin.
  3. Browse to the “Dashboard Organizer” section under Settings to choose the menus you want to hide or show.

FAQ

How does it work

It uses CSS classes and javascript to hides or show the wordpress admin menu items.

Does it change other plugin configurations or the database?

This plugin don’t mess with any other plugin. The only thing saved in the database is a list of the menus you want to hide.

Can this plugin do X, Y or Z?

Probably not. But it maybe could! This plugin was developed to let you organize the admin dashboard and some websites could become quite complex over time. Contact me for requests and let’s see what we can create together!
